During the rest of the month of January, we will be featuring wines from Argentina! Argentina is the 5th largest wine producer in the world and 8th in consumption. Argentina did not begin heavily exporting wine until the 1990s, as the country consumed 90% of all wine that was produced. They are now the largest wine exporter in South America with Mendoza, San Juan, and La Rioja being their most important wine producing regions.
