Doggie Paddle Pool Party

Location: Warner Park Pool 

Swim with your pup in an Olympic-sized pool or one of two wading pools at The Warner Park Pool. All sized dogs are welcome! Saturday, September 8th 11am-3pm. Canine Admission: $15 per pooch pre-registration ($10/additional dog) or $20 at the door.

 

DeAnne Smith at The Palace Theater
Sure, you could see Aziz Ansari “work out new material” at the Tivoli on Saturday night, but why not see a comedian who has already worked out that material? Internationally acclaimed comedian, writer and columnist DeAnne Smith captivates audiences with “nerdy but dirty” yet progressive cutting edge satire regarding feminism, sexism, modern language and multi-gendered relationships. This is her first foray to the “sunny south” and she’s excited to perform at The Palace Theater. Tickets are $20 and the show is at 9 p.m. More information is here.

VICtory Run 10k/5k/Mile Fun Run

Community volunteers will host the first VICtory 5K/10K/Mile Fun Run at Enterprise South Nature Park. All proceeds will benefit care for financially challenged patients with critical limb disease in Hamilton and Bradley County patients.
