Five Star Food Fight

One of our most anticipated annual “foodie” events of the season…Local chefs compete live at the Chattanooga Market under the pressure of patrons watching their every move. Five local chefs are chosen to compete in this event where they will have to be creative, quick-thinking and woo our judges.It’s the culminating event of Chattanooga Magazine’s Restaurant Week (July 9th-15th), designed to celebrate & support our local food scene: the chefs, farms and the original restaurants in greater Chattanooga.
From about 12:00 till 2:00pm market-goers will watch the chefs demonstrate their culinary skills using FiveStar cooking ranges and presenting their dishes to our panel of judges.
BBQ & Beach Party with Live Music at The Brew Market & Beer Garden

Join us for a FREE event at The Brew Market & Beer Garden. We will have Kona Brewing Company and Appalachian Mountain Brewery and Cidery beer specials, outdoor games, prizes, raffles, LIVE MUSIC, and grilling burgers and hot dogs!
We are also KID and DOG FRIENDLY with plenty of outdoor space for people to hang out. Seating is limited so bring your beach chairs. The party starts at 4 PM with live music from Sezessionville Road starting at 6 PM. Brew Market monthly members will get 2 free raffle tickets. Everyone will receive a raffle ticket with each beer purchase. Additional raffle tickets will be available for $1 each. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Gear Closet's Kids 4 Clean Water.
Riverfront Nights

The much anticipated free concert series, Riverfront Nights , returns to Chattanooga on Saturday, July 14. The outdoor musical series is free for all to enjoy, and is even dog-friendly. Riverfront Nights focuses on local people and institutions who promote healthy lifestyles, sustainable development/business practices and, of course, an intense love of the outdoors. Ocoee River Jam Ocoee River Jam is an annual music festival in Ocoee, Tennessee. Movies at the Park The Movies in the Park series at Coolidge Park concludes Saturday night with a screening of “Kung Fu Panda 3” at 9 p.m.Can you believe they’ve made three “Kung Fu Panda” movies? In the third film, Po continues his mastery of kung fu by completing a new task. His job? He has to teach a bunch of hopeless pandas what he learned. They end up fighting the evil Kai, a warrior with supernatural powers. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, picnic baskets and chairs. Clickherefor more information. Honey Harvest at Creative Discovery Museum The 17th annual Honey Harvest returns to the Creative Discovery Museum this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, guests will enjoy exhibits based on the honeybee. Attendees can make their own honey lip balm, beeswax candles and honey soap to take home. Local beekeepers will be at the event for children to meet. During the event, guests will also watch a live honey extraction. All activities are included with museum admission.
