Saint Patricks Day in Chattanooga!

10 of the BEST Saint Patrick's Day events going on this weekend!

1. Irish Soles
3/17 5:30pm
What better way to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day than running-walking with the Irish. Run a 5K or 1 Mile Walk along Chestnut Street and the beautiful new section of the RiverWalk Park. This is a family event that includes the race or walk and post race celebration at Chattanooga Brewery. Bring the Kids! Race starts at Chattanooga Brewing Company.
Home much:
5K race fee is $35.00. 1 Mile Walk is $25.00.
Proceeds from the race go to Notre Dame’s Annual Fund.

2. St Patty's Day Charity Ball/Crowning!!!

3/17 7:00pm The first annual St. Patrick's Day Ball will raise money for Crown CARES, an organization dedicated to preventing bullying in schools. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and there will be a silent auction. Tickets are available in advance by emailing tennessee@usanationalmiss.com. 150 River St.

How much: $15 in advance or $25 at the door

3. The Shamrock Show

3/17 9:00pm The Music Box invites guests to a St. Patrick’s Day show featuring The Murder of Jane Crow, Jack Endelouz, Sparky the Band and the Silver Tongued Devilz.

4. Clyde’s on Main

3/17 5:00pm

The Power Players will return to Clyde’s on Main for a St. Patrick’s Day bash. Expect several drink specials, including Jell-O shots, shamrock juice, car bombs, pickle backs and green beer.

5. 4th Annual St. Chatty’s Day Parade

3/18 at noon

This family friendly parade will benefit Kids on the Block and SoundCorps. The parade will step off from 4th & Cherry Street, take a right onto Market Street and go across the Market Street Bridge, take a right onto Frazier Avenue ending at Tremont Street! This is the one annual event that the community doesn't miss! Come one come all, we will be there!

Road closures are in effect from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • 4th Street at Cherry Street, Market Street and Frazier Avenue

  • 2 eastbound lanes of Frazier Avenue between Market and Tremont

  • Tremont Street between Frazier and River Street

  • River Street between Tremont and the Market Street Bridge

6.The Honest Pint presents the 3rd annual St Paddy's Party on the Parkway

3/18 4:00pm-midnight

This all ages street party is designed to showcase and promote local and regional musicians and celebrate the universally loved St Patrick's day! The Party on the Parkway festival uses the entire length of Patten Parkway to celebrate with an additional outdoor stage, food, and beer vendors! Kid zone with games and crafts! There will be a pub shuttle that safely transports guests to and from the event to several others locations on Southside and North Shore!

How much:

Any profits generated from gate sales will be donated to: Sound Corps - Chattanooga's not for profit art and entertainment committee!

7. St. Patrick’s Day Weekend with Mic Larry

Raw Bar & Grill

A night full of Saint Patrick's Day fun! Wear green and come out and enjoy live music and dancing! Raw is a great place to let loose and what better holiday than St. Patty's.

9. Irish Musical

3/17 3/18 3/19 7:30pm

Mars Theatre

Full of lively song and dance, "Irish Courage" is Back Alley Productions' salute to St. Patrick's Day. Zachery Green plays the playboy visitor who stumbles into a rustic Irish tavern and charms the local villagers even as he captures their attention with his story of murdering his father.

Admission: $10-$15.

10. See Shamrock City 3/19 3/20

3/18 - 3/19 - 3/20

Get your green on as Rock City celebrates its 9th Irish festival! Featuring music, food, and other entertainment! The waterfall will turn GREEN! Enjoy listing to several bands and enjoy Irish food, specialty beer! This event was selected as a Top 20 Events for 2015 by Southeast Tourism Society.
